He will appear as any of the 16 avatars that aren't currently being used by a player, with an added beard and moustache. In Quiplash 3, Schmitty has an additional role where if there is an odd number amount of players, he will go up against someone in the final round. For example, if the prompt is "The worst pizza is _-style pizza" and one of the quips is "New York," Schmitty will try to ward off an angry New Yorker after the voting process. In some cases, Schmitty may respond to one of the quips depending on its relevance to the original prompt. In each installment, Schmitty reads out the prompts that everyone answered before revealing the 'quips.' Often regarded as his most recognizable role, Schmitty has hosted all games of Quiplash since the original standalone release. Here he reads out trivia facts that players need to correctly identify as being either 'True' or a 'Lie.'

In You Don't Know Jack: Full Stream, Schmitty hosts a post-game radio show called 'You Don't Know Jack: Oldies Radio' that plays past ads from the series. In Facebook, he also introduces the Loser Wheel if the final score is below $0. Starting with the 2011 version of You Don't Know Jack, Schmitty retires from hosting, but Phil Ridarelli continues to appear as the announcer for the 'Wrong Answer of the Game' sponsors. He would continue to host games in the series, including The Ride and 5th Dimentia. Maybe I should get started on those Jackbox themed animation memes I have planned.Schmitty's first appearance is in You Don't Know Jack TV, where he takes over hosting duties from Cookie Masterson in the previous game.
I do really love these games, so I'm glad I'm part of the reason everyone else loves them too. Maybe Schmitty learned a thing or two about fashion while stuck with ! SO! To embrace this destiny of mine, I drew a new outfit for our boi Schmitty! Since Quiplash 3 is in full swing, and it's circus/carnival themed, I gave him a ringmaster outfit! I wanted to give his look a little zest, so I gave his old blue vest some nicer sleeves, buttons, and highlights! I didn't want his outfit to be all the same color again, so I gave him some purple too! He even has a little bowtie! He's ready for some Quiplashing! Yeah, I think this outfit is much fancier and more fun that the original look. *ahem* Sorry, that got kind of dramatic there. If people want Jackbox, I will GIVE them Jackbox! I HAVE THE POWER! I AM THIS SERIES! I AM THE ARTOID!!! MWAHAHAHAAAA! This is a two-way thing! I made this franchise what it is today, and in return, this franchise made ME what I am today.
#Schmitty quiplash series
I got this series into the limelight, which is something I hope for ALL the games I love. I made Jackbox famous! So when I look at it like that, it's empowering. I was one of the people worried about Schmitty in that game, and he escaped! So Jackbox not only made ME famous. What if I'M the reason Jackbox blew up like this? It makes sense, I've seen people draw MY versions of the characters more than ANY other artist! ESPECIALLY and Schmitty! Does this mean I'M the reason it became this big thing? This go-to party game franchise that anyone can play with family and friends? I'm one of the most vocal TMP fans, and it got a sequel. Jackbox games got more popular, more people knew it by name, and now Jackbox is HUGE! When TMP 2 dropped, I was HYPED! I've NEVER been so excited about a game sequel! And the popularity just blew up! Now EVERYONE knows about Jackbox Games!Īnd looking back.
Heck, I only found it be chance! But the more art I made for it, the deeper I went, the more people noticed. Nobody talked about it, nobody had heard of it, nobody knew what I was talking about. It was my first design for of Trivia Murder Party, right when I was getting into it. heartbroken.īut then I thought about what this means for my content. And NOBODY said they were here purely for my original stuff. Even my Mario artwork, which I've been making FAR longer than Jackbox artwork.
People are always asking me for more Jackbox content, and I know why. A lot of my newer followers are on the younger side and are die-hard Jackbox fans. To be honest, this is something I've suspected for a while now. Big thanks to the OTHER half of you that voted that ALL my work is amazing. learning most of you are mainly interested in what I make for Jackbox. According to the poll, about HALF of you follow my art for my Jackbox content.
